The SkeeterVac provides long-lasting protection against mosquitos and other flying insects like flies and gnats. You’ll start to see results almost immediately, and within 30 days, the mosquito population in your area will have been decimated.
Mosquitos find people by detecting the carbon dioxide we exhale, colors, especially contrasting ones, and heat. The SkeeterVac mimics all three of those features, so mosquitos come to it instead of you! The SkeeterVac burns propane gas and converts it into carbon dioxide and water, which is then put into the air. The black and white markings on the canister also help to attract mosquitos. A subtle yet powerful light helps to attract a broad range of species of mosquitos and biting flies. You can even use a bait such as FineTune in conjunction with your SkeeterVac to attract and kill even more mosquitos.
 When the mosquitos come to the SkeeterVac, they get stuck on the TacTrap (the black and white striped part of the device) or sucked into the easy-to-clean drawer. Either way, they’ll never bother you again!
The SkeeterVac is very easy to assemble and requires no tools. The propane canisters can be obtained at virtually any hardware store or gas supplier. The canisters last for 15-21 days of constant use, depending on which model SkeeterVac you buy. Because the SkeeterVac is propane-powered, you don’t have to mess with extension cords, and you can place it anywhere you want to.
